Laser sintering is very much like stereolithography in how the process works. However, for those situations where durability is more important than accuracy and/or appearance, RPI also provides laser sintering capabilities.

Sintered parts are made out of actual powdered plastic that is melted or "sintered" together via laser which means that the final parts have properties very close to a moulded part.
